This pre-owned 1/2 Stentor Student 2 violin outfit is in good condition. It does show signs of having been used. There are some chips to the varnish and wear round the edges. As can be seen from the photos there are also some small indentations to the top of the violin. These are only cosmetic and do not have an effect on the tone of the violin. A new bow has been included with this outfit. 
 
The case is in good condition with all zips in good working order.
 
A 1/2 size shoulder rest is included with this instrument.
 
Overall, this is a great violin for a beginner.
