This Baton Rouge ukulele is spectacular, especially as we've come to expect that some laser etched ukuleles are a bit of a triumph over substance. The warmth of the tone and playability is extremely impressive with this model, and it looks nice too. This 6 sting tenor ukulele is part of Baton Rouge's sun series, and we're a big fan! The laminate mahogany makes a very sweet sound, but it is also quite loud and capable of great expressive range. No doubt this is down to the quality materials used and the build quality, which is equally impressive. The NuBone nut and saddle and Aquila strings really bring something special to this uke.

This is the 6 string version of the tenor sun series. It has a double course of strings (high and low) on the C string and A strings. This creates a thick, bassy texture which sounds wonderful either strummed or picked.
