Terms and Conditions

1. General

The following terms and conditions refer to all transactions on soundandvisionelgin.co.uk website.

Sound and Vision Elgin reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Purchasing an item from us indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. Prices

Prices and promotions will sometimes be specific to our website and may not be available in our store. We are under no obligation to honour any website prices in our store.

We work hard  to ensure our website is up- to- date and accurate, however, a price error may occur. If this happens we will either  contact you to ask if you wish to cancel your order, or if you wish to proceed  with the order at the correct price, or we will cancel your order and refund the full payment. Sound and Vision Elgin are under no obligation to sell goods at the incorrect price.

We accept the following methods of payment; Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron, Delta.

3. Delivery of Goods

The delivery address must be the one registered to the credit/debit card being used for the purchase. Under no circumstance shall we deliver to an alternative address.

Delivery normally takes between 1 and 3 days except Saturday and Sundays for mainland UK, smaller items being sent by post and larger items by courier. You will be notified by email if there likely to be a delay in dispatching your order.

Our carriers unfortunately charge more for delivery to the Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland and Eire which we have to pass on to the customer. You will be notified if there is an additional charge being made.

4. Delivery Charges

All items on our website include free delivery within the UK mainland  except the areas mentioned above.

5. Orders

All orders made by you through the website are subject to acceptance by us. We may choose not to accept your order for any reason and will not be liable to you or anyone else in those circumstances.

For certain goods, the information concerning stock availability is not available on the website. If you order goods which are not available from stock, we will contact you by email giving you the option to wait until the goods return into stock, or cancel your order and we will refund any payment made for the order in full.

6.Returns

We hope you will be happy with your purchase, but if you are not, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 7 days from the date of delivery. The following conditions must be met.

  • You must write or email us with your intention.
  • Goods must not have been used.
  • Any additional products that were included in the box, must also be returned, eg. batteries, remote controls, instructions etc.
  • Packaging must be undamaged and complete.
  • The goods must arrive back to us in the same condition they left us. You may wish to consider insuring the goods.
  • The cost of sending the goods back to us will be at your own expense.

If these conditions are not met, we reserve the right to refuse a refund.

7. Faulty Items

Occasionally there is a manufacturing fault with a product. Please make sure you keep all your packaging for at least 30 days so you may check  your purchase thoroughly. If there is a fault, please inform us as soon as possible and we will arrange for the item to be collected at our expense. We will then either send you a replacement or offer you a refund.

8. Complaints

9.Data Protection

We will not pass on any of your information to third parties.

10. Other

Sound and Vision Elgin reserve the right to alter any of our offers without giving notice.
